The two Metal Clay for Metalsmiths sessions in San Diego, Friday, July 9th, and Saturday and Sunday, July 10-11, are filling fast. If you want to come, please let the studio know immediately. They have a great layaway plan, if you want a slot, but need to pay for the class over time. This will be a very professional weekend of class, with a full jeweler’s bench available for each student, in Jay Whaley’s own fully equipped teaching studio. All levels are welcome, as long as you have some experience with either metalsmithing or metal clay. Even advanced students will be enchanted with these projects. This is serious class, but accessible to almost anyone. If you want to really take it up a notch, this weekend is for you. Sign up for all three days if you want total immersion.

The Kyle Cassidy Photography Workshop for Jewelers has been finalized, and signups are available now, at this link. The class is open to all levels, and no specialized equipment or photo knowledge is required. If you would like to achieve professional results with the equipment that you already own, or can afford, then you will love these sessions.
Classes at Studio Beads, Chicago, Beads Of Colour, Ontario, BeadFX, Toronto, and Blanche’s Beads, NJ, will be up soon. Check my Calendar page for links to these fine establishments.
