It is a beautiful day. It froze last night again, but will warm today to 60s and sunny, and it’s hard to ask for more from February in the Northern Hemisphere.
I found some great things when I was cleaning up this morning. This photo of an astonishing dress and cape by Dolce & Gabbana, which I adore. Bianca Brandolini wore it to the Met Gala. She’ll never wear it again, I suppose, that’s how those girls are.
Gail and I are headed out on more adventures today, and then she delivers herself to the San Diego Bead Society, and I into the arms of my Valentine. I can’t wait to see all of the boys, it’s been a month since I’ve been home with them and that’s a couple of weeks too long.
Then home to ship books and swag… Lord. It will be a scene. Our delivery date (books to Tucson) is February 28th, and shipping will begin as soon as they arrive.

That dress sparkles like it’s made of a million beads! I’m sure Dolce&Gabbana lent the dress to Bianca for the evening. Celebrities seem to never pay for anything.
I think she’s some kind of socialite.
any chance you will be adding some smaller bea kits to your store without the triangle instructions for those of us on a lower budget? I already have the book n order so I will have the directions plus my preview downloads, but would love a nice assorment of beads to play with.
I hope so! It’s hard to put stuff together, there is so much going on production-wise. But I hope to try.
: )
That cape is pure magic!!!
I know. Swoon.
I hope you found it in your closet! Finders keepers…
