Safe travels, Davy Jones. I loved it when you were on The Brady Bunch and I loved the Monkees.

My 78 yr old mother is devastated…she always thought that “sleepy Jean” song was about her.

Me too. Day Dream Believer was what I aspired to be and the Monkees so took me there when I was a young teen.
I loved Davy on the Brady Bunch, too and his striped blazer.

Yup, I too loved him on the Brady Bunch, I so wanted to be Marcia on that episode!

I fell in love with him via the reruns on Nickelodeon in the late 1980′s – I was only 9 or 10 years old. I’d get jealous when a pretty girl showed up, because I knew Davy would be the one she went for. (But I do vaguely recall Peter getting a little play in one of the episodes…)
