I LOVE Florence!

what’s not to love!
Hey! All of your succulents took firm root in that ring- what a fabulous idea! So Martha Stewart! It’s now gracing a Victorian iron urn, right in front of the Bill & Chalon Memorial Prickly Pear.

Ha. I laid mine down too because I liked the way yours looked. I’m glad it took root.

Another great bit of music to wake up to! Thank you. I’ll need more of Florence!

Florence is very interesting, very beautiful. I think I like a good dance tune more than she does- a lot of her music is vocally intense, not catchy. I always selfishly wish she’d do more dancy stuff. She is a genius, however, not put on this Earth to get my hips twitching.

Florence is original and a true channel, which is so rare these days. It would be interesting to know how hard she has (or hasn’t) had to fight producers who want to absolve her of her choice not to lay a dance beat behind her songs.

This album (Geez, I’m old! Who calls them “albums” anymore?) has been playing non-stop in my car since I bought it last November. My personal favorite is “All This and Heaven Too.” You can find some free downloadable remixes at a site called rcrdlbl.com. Most of what’s there is from “Lungs”, but there is a remix of “No Light No Light” from “Ceremonials” there. Enjoy!

Right, it would be interesting to talk to her.

Florence Welch is not only beyond wonderful because of her voice but because she makes singing about Virginia Woolf cool! I can picture the woman walking into the water with those stones in her pocket and Florence singing on the shore. Not to mention the fact that she has a harp in this set….I could go on. And on….!

Florence is a true channel, as Doriot says.
