wowza

I’m focused today; feeling a bit behind. I have at least caught up on all of my shipping, this is nothing to sneeze at.

Several of Dustin’s cones have gone home with Debi Nicholson of Beads Of Colour in Ontario; she was inspired to design a piece that hopefully she will finish in time to make the book. Her idea is genius.

Jean Power continues to show some of her stunning shots from the Kyle shoot on her blog. Despite the fact that she hypothesized that I am part-gnome, I still love her.

Gabriella van Diepen, what a vision you are. It’s overwhelming, going through and laying out all of the photos we have to choose from. What a gorgeous book this is going to be…

These photos are amazing, as is the bead work and the beautiful model and that incredible sky (especially in the first photo). I want to live there.

One thing I must tell you that strikes me like lightenting with every post I read….you have got to be the hardest working person I know. I truly admire that as I spend a lot of my day sitting and thinking/dreaming of what I would LIKE to be doing….nothing is hindering me….just my butt glued to the chair/couch/whatever. Perhaps the inspiration that is you will one day catapult me into my studio!! Goodness knows what creations will fly out of there if I actually got down to it:)

It makes me happy to work hard, so it hardly counts as an accomplishment. It’s just my nature.
Believe me, when I feel like it, I curl up in bed with a kitten and a movie. And I read books, and sit in the sunshine.
I think that down time is really important. I sleep less than most people, though, so it looks like I’m really doing something.
